Ever The Bridesmaid, Never The Bride …
In 2012 St John’s Mind Sports Club eSports team came second at SA Schools, losing narrowly to Pretoria Boys. In 2013 St John’s again came second, this time losing out to HTS Witbank!
The team is determined to throw off its bridesmaid status and take the crown in 2014! To this end the Club Committee has decided to establish standing teams which will practice together at club meetings. These teams will have the security of not having to fight for selection, but the incentive to train as a unit. These teams will be selected after the SA Nationals in December 2013. Teams will compete as teams in the Club Leagues on Binary Beast for 2014.
Could all players start planning for our campaign on the crown for 2014.
